Come aboard the Dolphin Watch & Snorkel Cruise Key West for an aquatic journey to observe the grace and beauty of our resident Key West dolphins.
Take our beautiful sailing catamaran on an adventure into the shimmering turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. As we make our way out to sea, our experienced crew and captain will share some fascinating and fun facts about the estimated 200 Key West dolphins. Together, we'll responsibly watch dolphins as they swim, play, feed and do what comes naturally. Bottlenose dolphins are a wonder to behold and a memory you'll treasure for a lifetime.
The tour operator is a part of "Dolphin SMART", a program that protects and promotes the responsible observance of dolphins. The program was put together by many conservation agencies including NOAA's National Marine Sanctuary, National Marine Fisheries Service, as well as the Dolphin Ecology Project and the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society. Next, we'll head to the Key West wildlife refuge where we'll snorkel along the shallow backcountry. See sponges, coral, tropical fish and more as the warm Florida Keys sun illuminates the sky. You don't have to be an expert swimmer, because our crew will provide you with guidance and top-of-the-line gear including mask, fins, snorkel and a float if you wish.
After a day on and in the water among nature's most stunning gifts, we'll begin our ride back to dock. Enjoy complimentary fresh fruit, soda, juice, bottled water.

Can I go snorkeling if I cannot swim?
Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All Tours of Key West snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Can we use our own snorkeling gear?
The snorkel gear we use on Tours of Key West tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.
Do we get to swim with or touch the dolphins?
As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Key West Dolphin Watch & Snorkel. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Do you offer pick up at one location and drop off at another?
Yes, you may request a shuttle drop-off at a different location within Key West.
Do you provide a pickup service from the airport, cruise ship port, ferry, or our hotel?

Your Key West Dolphin Watch & Snorkel email confirmation will contain a local phone number to coordinate your pickup. Avoid expensive taxis and high price parking, and let Tours of Key West make your vacation easy.
I've never snorkeled before, will I be OK?
First-time snorkelers can be assured of one-on-one instruction and assistance. We find introducing folks to our world very rewarding!
What is the age limit for snorkeling?
There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
If the Key West Dolphin Watch & Snorkel must be canceled due to bad weather, and you cannot go on another day or time, you will be issued a refund by Tours of Key West.

Will I get seasick on Key West Dolphin Watch & Snorkel with FREE shuttle to location?
If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.

Awesome Key West Dolphin Watch
Oscar H, Jul 2021 Verified
Great Dolphin watch experience but the snorkeling was too short of time. It would be Awesome if the guests had the choice to be in water without any equipment or snorkel. Just a request. Other than that it was Nice. Variety of snacks is a must!

Screen-reader and keyboard navigation
Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with
screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive
a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements,
alongside console screenshots of code examples:
Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website.
In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels;
descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups),
and others. Additionally, the background process scans all of the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag
for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology.
To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on
as soon as they enter the website. These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.
